Colombia Earthquake

A 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck western Colombia on August 10th, causing severe damage and destruction across multiple areas. The GEM team is already on the ground providing critical relief and assistance.
 

Venezuela Earthquake

On the evening of June 24th, back-to-back earthquakes struck Venezuela, with a 7.1 magnitude quake followed roughly a minute later by an even stronger 7.5 magnitude quake, centered just west of the capital. Buildings have collapsed across Caracas, where rescue crews are searching for survivors.
 

Indonesia Earthquake

GEM Europe is responding to the 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck off Indonesia’s coast on August 15th. Dozens of people have lost their lives in Flores Island, hundreds of buildings have been damaged, and critical infrastructure has been impacted.
 

Jamaica Hurricane Melissa

Our experienced GEM Caribbean team, based in Kingston, Jamaica, is leading large-scale humanitarian operations across the island in response to Hurricane Melissa. Large scale aid deliveries are underway, with millions of lbs of critical supplies being distributed.
